home!!

I'm home from fest!! It was awesome!! Now that I've been to both Heartland and Dragonfest I can report that Dragonfest is the one I prefer. More of everything. Of course Heartland does have the coed shower thing going on... but Dfest is closer to me and I know people there. ;) Next time I'll be camping closer to where I would like to be.

I have your lantern! I tried to find you, but couldn't. Do you want me to mail it to you? Or hold onto it until next year?

I heard about it one summer when we were in Denver. We were at a Shamanic Journeying meeting at a UU church, and they said most everyone in the community was at Dragonfest. I think.

They said it's really high altitude, and a little rough on people who aren't used to it.

Sounds fantastic. I'd love to go one day.

yeah, it's in Colorado. It is at a high altitude but I didn't have a problem because I live at about the same altitude. ;) The key for folks not used to it is to drink lots of water and bring warm clothes for after dark.

I lived in Colorado Springs for six years as a teenager. Loved it there. Never had a problem with the altitude either, personally.

And imagine my surprise when someone told me that YOU were at Dfest.

I am sooooooo glad we got to meet, just wish we could have had another chance to sit down and really talk.

But next year I am committed, NO staff for me. If I don't get my dram job, then I'll be sitting by the camp fire vegging.

Love ya

Me too! I did enjoy the little visit we did get in very much. :)

I now have my husband wanting to go next year.

Awesome...

We'll see what the next year brings, but hopefully we'll have a chance to get together.
