Layout and LJ
Sep. 3rd, 2006 04:51 pmI've been stipping down my LJ this past week. Removing user pics and things like that and I just changed my layout to something that doesn't use the advance editing feature. Why? Because my paid status will end on the eighth of this month and after all the crap that has gone on with LJ changing shit I'm just not happy with paying for it anymore. So, I'm not going to pay for LJ anymore. Simple as that.
Now, my new layout. It looks best in Firefox with a resolution 1024x768 or higher. My resolution is actually 1440x900 (widescreen) so there is a tad bit of a horizontal scroll bar in 1024 but you don't actually have to scroll it. I'll ask my darling husband to see if that can be fixed later. Right now we are both frustrated with it because when working with LJ and an external style sheet you eventually pull out quite a bit of hair due to the fact that LJ caches the css and it take a LOT of reloading the page to get the new version in. Now, it has a weird issue in IE and that is the content kinda jumps to the right when I open my browser to it's full width but quite frankly I don't give a shit because I don't use IE and I am my own target audience for this layout as I am the one who views it the most. ;-)
