*gentle hug* Muscular aches? Body aches? or post-surgery aches? There are different things you can do for each. Are you post-surgery long enough so that you can take a bath now? Sometimes hot baths do help with body aches, depending on if its muscular or not.

Sorry you are in pain :(

its a horrid fibro flare. its been almost six weeks since the surgery and everything in that area is great, no pain there. ive already done the bath thing but this one is really bad. my husband called the doctors office while i was in the bath because i was crying.

its frustrating because every doctor i see wants to just treat my diabetes and not deal with the fibro because they all think if they treat the diabetes the pain will go away because they decide its not really fibro, its diabetic neuropathy. they ignore me telling them that i had the fibro long before the diabetes and the pain is making my blood glucose levels spike. *sigh*

(edited to fix spelling of neuropathy)

*hugs*
Hmm it seems like half my friends list is miserable and in pain or sick lately. Don't follow this trend, it's not a good one ;) I hope you feel better soon.

Ouch. I'm so sorry, Gwen. I'm going through a touch of arthritic pain myself right now (seems to be the norm whenever the temperature gets around 40, whether going up or down), but nothing too bad.

Is FMS weather-related, like many forms of arthritis?

a fibro flare can be set off by changes in the weather, yes. cold rainy weather is bad but for me so is temps above 80.

the episode i'm having now though is from overexerting myself this weekend. i went to wal-mart three times. my body is not protesting the activity.
