I actually agree with Geraldine here- but with different reasoning. If Obama were a reasonably attactive, charismatic white male, he wouldn't be in this position. He'd already be the presumptive nominee. That this country has put aside its racial and gender biases to the degree it already has says something about where our nation is- or perhaps to what depths the current administration has driven it that they're being overcome.
