If there is one or more people on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.
Not directly connected to this post... I'd like my friend coffeedaiv to be a member at dot_pagan_snark. I just dragged him onto LJ after telling him about all the hilarious snarkage; what do I (or does he) have to do to get approved?
Y'know, the info page for .pagansnark says for people with a vouch to contact you personally... but I couldn't find a way for him to do that; I couldn't find your email listed anywhere. (I dragged it up from the archives of the pagan webcrafters email list, but I'm not sure whether that'll work.)
Maybe someone could make an unlocked post at .pagan snark with screened comments, to allow people to ask to be added or offer vouches?
I just looked and my gmail address is listed on the community info page... up near the top where it says "email". ;-)
I'll send your friend an invite. He can pick it up by going to the Communities tab and clicking on Invitations to Join. (That's on the new LJ interface.)
