wolfrose: (FMS Hurts)
I've been in so much frakin pain lately that my daughter's boyfriend has been commenting on how he can tell I'm not well. :-(

I!HATE!FIBRO!

I hate being tired. I hate not being able to think about anything without screaming in my head because I hurt. I hate not being able to do things I think I should be able to do. It SUCKS! I really hate though that some people think it's all in my head because ya know, I don't look sick... yeah, whatever... trade ya.

I hurt... bad... but I'm happy so life is good.

My mom has that, too. It sucks.

http://butyoudontlooksick.com/ and click on "The Spoon Theory." It helps, and you can give it to other people to read, too.

Yeah, have had that bookmarked for years. I love that story and the first time I read it I sent it to my best friend who was having a hard time understanding why I couldn't just always get up and go go go with her.

This week has been full of one spoon days...

*hugs you* you need a big spoon to thwack those morons at Medicaid. I hope they don't turn off your benefits anymore, that's the last thing you need to deal with now.

I've talked to one of the benefits administrators, so at least my cancer is on the radar, so hopefully they will leave my benefits alone for a while and mess with other folks instead. I'd hope they'd leave everyone alone, but I know that isn't possible. It's amazingly stupid.

And thanks. I hope you get more spoons soon.

I also have fms, one of the things that has actually helped me is a non narcotic drug called etodolac. it helps smoothe the "misfires". you might want to be checked to make sure it is not Neuropathy in conjunction with fms. which turned out to be my case. if you don't mind me asking is your pain predominately in the back, legs and shoulders?
