My son-in-law got himself a laptop because his computer bit the dust. Well the laptop isn't as great for doing what he wants as a desktop would be but this baby will do everything my desktop was built to do just fine so he and I traded! He's already upgraded the RAM in that tower. LOL he's happy, I'm happy, it's all good!

I can now do my artwork from a laptop! That was impossible before so when I would be stuck in fibro hell bed, which lately has been most of the time, I could not do any artwork. Not now, now I have the world in my lap!

Sounds like it worked out great for both of you.

My back keeps me in bed, so we set up a table arrangement at the side of the bed so I can sit or lie down and still use the computer. Typing is more difficult lying down, but it can be done.

Hey, speaking of artwork... Did you happen to see the post I made on PWA a while back about looking for an artist that could take a somewhat rough drawing I did in Illustrator of a fairy, and spiff it up and make it look actually nice? Is that the sort of thing you might be up to doing?

Basically, what it needs to be is a kind of sexy goth fairy in green, leaning on the edge of an absinthe glass, to be used in the logo of a goth fashion designer. And it would be paying work. Interested?
