I love Heroes, and I'm not giving up hope, but it seemed to really be flat compared to previous seasons (or at least season one - season two is kind of a blur for me). It just doesn't seem to have the many layers it used to - and they also seem to be playing a bit more to the LCD than they used to. I refuse to be cynical, and hope to hell that next week proves me wrong!
(And even with all of that, I'm still very excited for next week. Also - Mohinder with his shirt off. 9:01 - oh, yes, I noted the time on my DVR so I can go back to THAT scene when the kids aren't around.)
Wonder whether "Peter-In-Jesse" will have Peter's powers, or Jesse's, or both....and also wonder whether Jessica/Nicole/Trudy knows anything about her alter-egoes? Did you all see the prequel, and what do you think of the "villains" concept?
I'm not convinced that Tracy IS Nikki. My theory? I think Tracy's the actual (in body) Jessica - she didn't die at 12, but Nikki was told she did. The Jessica that lived in Nikki was actually MPD - not related to her powers, but perhaps exacerbated by them.
Peter/Jesse - well, they are going for this whole adrenal gland thing, which would be physical, so he should have Jesse's powers. Then again, Sylar most definitely works with brains and gets the powers, so...
I'm so very, very glad that they finally put to rest all the fandom crap about Sylar eating the brains. That drove me nuts, and it should stop now. Yay!
Of course, there being more time travel means more fandom idiocy by folks who haven't read enough science fiction to understand the concept of time travel and time lines and that will drive me even more nuts than the Sylar-eating-brains stuff. but it's all good, because I like time travel.
